Saturday, Oct. 17 and Sunday Oct. 18, 2026. Upcoming workshop with Heidi of “Layered Awareness”

Self-use is Self-Care

We will explore how awareness and movement can help you become aware of how you use yourself, and how awareness and modifying your movement patterns can enhance your self-care in everyday situations.

Where: on-line

When: Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10am to 1pm CDT and Sunday Oct. 18, from 10 to 11:30 am CDT.

Who: Anyone curious about learning how your ATTENTION can change the way you think, move, feel and sense yourself.

What to expect: A discussion about: “What is “self-use”, how it is related to “self-care” and how better “self-use” can be easily brought into your daily routine. As well, you will experience, how a movement practice with awareness can affect our emotions, posture, movement and how we sense ourselves. We will provide two movement lessons on Saturday and one movement lesson on Sunday.

What you will experience: Simple ways to care for yourself, while finding options in movement patterns, using Feldenkrais Method principles. And, an embodied experience of self-regulation through awareness and movement.
The movement lesson will be done lying on a mat (firm and comfortable surface).

Cost: $50 (entire workshop)
